JOHNS&CO first approached Digital Ethos to gain more dominant rankings in local areas across London, whilst building a strong foundation and SEO campaign.
Our strategy started by revisiting the SEO basics. The nature of an estate agent website means that it’s fed information from different APIs to keep the properties and information updated. JOHNS&CO had many technical issues, such as indexation, site speed and internal linking that needed to be addressed first.
Thereafter, we moved our focus onto a comprehensive content strategy. By working closely with their PR agency, we were able to create thought leadership content, driven by primary statistics that were then shared with national press and publications. The content strategy was executed so that JOHNS&CO were ranking for top of funnel search terms, whilst still contacining core call to actions to convert website traffic.
In order to manage their local presence, a thorough Google My Business campaign was executed. This meant revisiting the GMB’s every 2-3 weeks, posting updated events and blogs, responding to reviews and expanding upon their services and business information.
As the campaign grew, JOHNS&CO started to approach Digital Ethos for more ad hoc support and consultancy, including one-off PPC and paid social media campaigns that were also very successful.
